About the Course:

Games and playing are the bedrock of performance. They offer enjoyable, practical and non-threatening ways to learn and rediscover the fundamentals of the actor's craft. This six week short course uses a multitude of games and rehearsal exercises drawn from a wide range of sources to explore:

  • how to be responsive and reactive 'in the moment'

  • focus on stage

  • the relationship between actor and audience

  • the actor as a creative artist

  • and, ultimately, how plays work in performance.

An unusual and active approach to acting for anyone who loves being onstage.
