AUDITION FOR US AND OUR AFFILIATE LONDON AGENCY, SRA AT THE SAME TIME!

Normal classes start on Monday 6th September (College Class) and Sunday 12th September (Regular Classes). 


Juniors 2-4pm; Seniors 4-6pm Sundays.

College Course  - meets on Mondays 6.30-9.30pm.

 (Aimed at students aged 17+, this course provides intensive training and preparation for those who are auditioning for drama colleges in 2009/10 or planning to enter the profession.)

The Actors' Workshop has become an established centre of excellence in the Southwest, offering expert part-time training for young performers who show exceptional ability for their age. Led by industry professionals, The Actors' Workshop is a springboard into the profession and prepares students for a career in the very tough and demanding world of performing arts.

Courses at The Actors' Workshop are based around key skills needed for theatre, TV and film work. We offer advanced and specialised vocal training, text work and audition practise. Our focus emphasises the need to understand character & motivation: to 'tell the story' in an ever-changing media environment.

Many of our young actors are already working in the business; others are successfully auditioning for drama colleges or university drama courses.  Members of The Actors' Workshop (both Junior and Senior groups) are signed with a variety of top London agents.

The Actors' Workshop is affiliated with SRA Agency in London - selected students are offered representation by this dynamic and successful agency.

Entry is by audition. Although many of our students already have some professional experience, we also accept talented performers aged 8-22, who are passionate and dedicated, and take their training seriously.

The Actors' Workshop holds periodic showcases to promote our students in a wider forum. 

 HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR COLLEGE CLASS! 

This year, 80% of students have been offered places/scholarships at major drama schools, including RADA, LAMDA, East 15, Mountview, GSA, The Drama Centre, Royal Welsh, Manchester College and Oxford School of Drama.
