About the Workshop:

Have you ever seen a brilliant stage fight and thought "I wish I knew how to do that”?

Well now you can! Join us for a day Masterclass with Stage Combat Tutor, Fight Choreographer and RSC Associate Practitioner Tom Jordan.

Across the day, we will go over the basics of stage combat; we'll look at the physicality of the fighter, the art of reaction and how best to work safely as a team with your opponent.

Please wear sensible clothing that you can move easily in and bring a bottle of water.

About Tom Jordan:

Tom Jordan is a professional Fight Director and Stage Combat Instructor. He has choreographed fights for a plethora of productions across the UK, for companies including The Royal Shakespeare Company, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, The Egg and The Handlebards.

He is an RSC Associate Practitioner, a stage combat tutor at LAMDA, and teaches at various Universities across the UK, as well as running courses and workshops under his own organisation, The Action Emporium. He also works as a director and a writer.”
