Hidden in Plain Sight - How Shakespeare the writer helped Shakespeare the actor - with Bruce Alexander.

from £25.00

Saturday 18th October 10.30 - 4.30

About the Workshop

Bruce will explore with you the help Shakespeare the Writer gave to Shakespeare the Actor.  How his use of words can help us tell his story his way.  There might even be a bit of history involved as to how Shakespeare’s actors worked and how that - in very different times - can help us release Shakespeare’s imagination today.

We were lucky enough to host Bruce Alexander at The Actors’ Workshop Bristol two years ago. His depth of knowledge, coupled with his gentle, patient manner made a lasting impression on our students, enhancing their understanding of Shakespeare and elevating performance.
