Creating a Visual Narrative - with IMPERMANENCE

IMPERMANENCE is a Bristol-based dance theatre company run by Joshua Ben Tovim and Roseanna Anderson, who make critically acclaimed work for stage and screen. Having trained at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, the Artistic Directors have a strong background in contemporary dance technique.

As well as making their own work, Roseanna and Josh have performed in a number of theatre productions (inc. Dr Semmelweis, Harold Pinter Theatre // I, Joan, Shakespeare's Globe).

Drawing on experience from across the dance and theatre worlds, IMPERMANENCE will deliver a movement workshop which focuses on the body's capacity for storytelling, its innate clarity and how to find freedom and spontaneity in movement. The workshop will involve playful elements from the company's repertoire as well as creative tasks and improvisation.
