NEWS!

  • Once again, our College Class has done us proud! This year, our students were offered places at GSA, ArtsED, Mountview (2) RADA, Bristol Old Vic, Royal Welsh, ALRA, Bird and London Studios. BRAVO ALL!!!
          • Meanwhile, our annual showcase at the Wickham Theatre in June/July was fantastic - our best yet! Encompassing everything from Shakespeare and Ayckbourn to Woody Allen, Caryl Churchill and physical theatre, our four different shows really challenged our students and showed the phenomenal professional standard they can achieve. With songs from cutting edge new musicals and dances choreographed by The Wizard of Oz's Zeph Gould, we truly brought the West End to Bristol!

    • Several students were offered representation as a result of the showcase, and one - Harriet Seaton - has just been cast in the new series of SKINS. Noah Marullo is back in Newcastle, filming another series of TRACY BEAKER RETURNS... Several students are spending the summer as members of NYT, YMT UK and NYMT.

As always, we have some exciting plans for the coming year. Andy Cryer is back in town between tours with Northern Broadsides.  Chris is teaching at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and pursuing some exciting projects of his own. Ollie has decided to add school teaching to his portfolio as an actor and is spending time at a local primary school when not working with us... Clara continues to sing and teach, interspersed with increasing engagements as a voice-over artist.

This term, as well as our usual actor's toolkit training, we welcome back film makers Duncan Harrison and Will Hooper, who are working with us on another original project following the success of our last venture with them, ONE STREET.

Our College Class is once again in the thick of auditions. We have already secured an unconditioanl place; more to follow, no doubt! Since we now have ex-students in practically every major college, our current members have the chance to gain an inside perspective wherever they go....
